The Holiday Season countdown is officially on! And that means Amaia Papaya will be popping up here and there over the next few weeks. If you're looking for the perfect gift, we've got you covered. We will be fully stocked with zipper bags, mug sleeves, tumblers, tote bags and more! Here is out current market schedule:

Saturday, 12/3 Totally Bazaar IV, Mill No. 5 Lowell (12-5pm)

Sunday, 12/11 Farm Market, Mill No. 5 Lowell (11-3pm)

Saturday, 12/17 It's a Wonderful Market, Mill No. 5 Lowell (12-5pm)

Not local? Our Etsy shop will remain open during these events, but we encourage you to place your holiday order soon! For guaranteed Christmas delivery orders must be placed by Monday, December 12th. Looking for a custom order? Send us an email or Etsy message and we will set one up for you!

    Amaia Papaya is a nice shop. I used to buy stuff from this shop. Their fabric and designs both are reasonable and having quality also.

Market time again!

Last week we packed up our goods and headed over to the Ashland farmers market for their sustainability day and we had one of our best selling days ever! The weather was gorgeous, the people were friendly, and the feedback from customers was beyond supportive and positive. I even had a few people run back to my booth around closing time to pick up some more goods. Overall a wonderfully successful day that not only re-motivated me, but made me realize that following my dreams isn't so crazy after all! We set up shop with our usual tent, but this time added a nice new handmade sign. A definite plus for getting our name out there! Bamboo Cutlery Sets

Friends! It's been a while since I last posted on here, but I am listing some awesome new bamboo cutlery sets tomorrow so I wanted to pop back on and give you a quick sneak peek! This is a product I've been dreaming up for quite some time. When I started my shop a few years back, my goal was to make products that help people move towards a "zero waste" lifestyle. Combing that goal with my love of creating and sewing, I started a small Etsy shop and decided to blog along the way. Admittedly I got a little distracted over the years (pretty fabrics and zipper pouches, what can I say!), so I'm eager to get back on track and bring you more eco-friendly handmade goods. But have no fear, my zipper pouches are not disappearing! I'm certainly not a sustainability expert, but my background is in biology and public health and I love brining that knowledge out here. Straw cases are here!

You guys, I am SO excited about these straw cases. I have been dreaming them up for a long time and after numerous requests over the summer, I decided to carve out some time and draft the pattern. I am so pleased to say that they are now listed in my Etsy shop for the holiday season. The best part? They are available in fifteen different colors. Yes! They are available as the case alone or with two 9" handmade stainless steel straws. What a fun way to work towards a zero waste lifestyle.
